There are special rules that apply to commercial trucks in Florida and around the country. Commercial trucks are heavily regulated by the Federal Government. The Federal Government has put out a series of regulations that govern commercial trucks and as you can see, this book contains a lot of rules that govern everything from the maintenance of the truck, the driving of the truck, dispatch on the truck, to even the number of hours that the driver sleeps.
One of the key things we look at in commercial cases, commercial trucking cases is exactly that. Was the driver rested? We get the logs to make sure that the driver was rested at the time of the crash. This is one of the many things we look at in commercial trucking cases.
