What is no-fault insurance?

No fault insurance is something that you might see in your policy that says PIP, Personal Injury Protection. Basically it’s medical coverage for you in the event that you’re injured in an accident that covers you regardless of fault. If you’re at fault for the accident, you still have your PIP coverage that you can really on to cover a portion of your medical expenses, but you’ll see it on your policy as Personal Injury Protection or no fault insurance.
