Mini Mart Recovery: Another Remarkable PWD Victory by Skip Pita

PWD Recovers $950K for Client Assaulted at Store
Mr. M went to a local mini-mart in Central Florida to buy some chicken. A store employee, with an extensive criminal and prison record, took a dislike to Mr. M. That employee decided to lie in wait for Mr. M in the parking lot. When Mr. M exited the store, he was blindsided and punched in the face, crushing his eye socket. PWD obtained the full, violent criminal history of the employee and sued the mini mart for negligent hiring, retention, and supervision. Skip Pita took a series of depositions and then filed an amendment for punitive damages. Prior to the hearing, the case was resolved for $950,000.
PWD is proud to have helped Mr. M and his family through this ordeal.
