Does federal admiralty and maritime law apply to the operation of my pleasure boat?

Video Transcription:

The applicability of federal maritime law or state law depends upon the water that you’re operating your boat at the time of a crash. If you were in navigable water, then federal law applies. If it is non navigable water, then state law applies.
